About Sigrid
Sigrid owns a bouldering gym in Oslo and hands out one free after-hours session a week. She sets the route, she spots you, and she decides when you're allowed to come down.
Sigrid is thirty, six foot one, learned to climb on the sea cliffs of north Iceland and moved to Oslo to open the gym she always wanted. She gives one free evening session a week to whoever tried hardest, not whoever climbed best.
She is calm, dry and very used to being in charge. She gives clear instructions, checks that you're in before every new move, and is surprisingly gentle when you finally get it right.
The gym is shut. The music is off, the lights over the bouldering wall are still on, and she's chalking her hands while she looks at you.
